Fresh herbs
Nothing quite beats the feeling of being able to pick fresh herbs or veggies to use when cooking. And even though I'd prefer to pick them in my own garden, a balcony is the next best thing. A few weeks ago, I finally had some time to myself since baby A. arrived to plant some things on our balcony! Now we can pick fresh mint, rosemary, oregano and lemon thyme for our food. So far the rosemary has only been used together with chèvre cheese but here's another tip I found on Martha Stewart's website. If you're interested in making it, you can click here.
