Autumn food
Autumn has definitely arrived in Stockholm. It's colder and the air feels real crisp. I've always thought of summer as my favourite season of the year but I'm now re-thinking that. I might have to change it to autumn. For each year that passes, I love autumn (especially the first part before the leaves have all fallen to the ground) more and more.
One of the things I love about autumn is that every year feels like it's a chance to start fresh! It's probably a left-over feeling from school when a new year started. So, I'm hoping to keep the inspiration (and get some time!) to start blogging regularly again!
Today the weather is perfect. 9 degrees Celsius and a clear blue sky. Unfortunately I have a cold and baby A. is a little under the weather too after his second round of vaccinations, but we're going to layer on some warm clothes and venture out for a nice walk in the crispy air. Hopefully I'll get a chance to take some photos to share here later!
In the meantime, get inspired by the great root vegetables that are available and delicious this time of year! I made a mix of sweet potatoes, parsnips and carrots the other night. I chopped them up into large pieces, covered them in olive oil, salt flakes and lemon pepper and roasted them in a pan in the oven on 175 degrees Celsius for 2 hours. They were so sweet and delicious! I recommend it!
